What to do Outdoors?

Observe
Rock Climbing
High Ropes

Although at the beginning you won't be able to tackle a high mountain, learn to keep your equilibrium walking in the rocks or any kind of terrain. Breath clean air while you are up there. Follow your group closely.

Swimming

Nothing more refreshing during the summer than a swim. Learn about water safety before getting into the water. Take a swimming class and be close to your parents.

Evening &
Special Activities

Practice a sport, that will help you work in a team, develop social skills as you exercise. Learn the rules of the game and help your team reach the goal.

Canoeing

Canoeing is fun, especially when you are just observing and letting others do the work (actually is more fun when you take turns and make those biceps work!). Again, water safety is essential. Don't stand up or try to reach something in the water. Enjoy the view!

Arts & Crafts

Programs

Although this picture looks a little surreal (she meant to draw a monkey), you will be amazed on the many skills you will develop by drawing in a nature walk. Challenge others to do the same and compare notes.

Water Playground

This is not for you just yet. Learn about water safety and enjoy the view while walking by the beach. Always ask your parents before trying anything new in the water.

Smile
Talk about it! Enjoy those opportunities to spend time with your family.

Well, we not always can sit around the campfire to talk. Have a quiet time in family and talk about that trip to the lake or the nature walk. Did you pick up any rocks?
